About Me

Hi! My name is Kihoon Son, a third year Ph.D. student in the School of Computing at KAIST. I am working with Juho Kim as a member of KIXLAB (KAIST Interaction Lab)

My research focuses on generative model-based interaction techniques that capture human implicit knowledge and reasoning. I also have a huge interest in reusing the captured human knowledge or reasoning process through a LLM- or LVM-based agent.

Ongoing Research

I did a recent work that captures and structures the reasoning processes of professionals within creative workflows, feeds this information to a generative-model–based agent, and observes the resulting effects.

Specifically, I explore:

• how to design a creative agent that can plan, act, and make decisions grounded in human reasoning, and
• how such an agent should interact with human professionals within their workflows to meaningfully support creativity and efficiency.
